The Seattle Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 8, with kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET (1:25 p.m. Pacific). The game is on Fox in the late national window. According to Yahoo Sports, viewers without cable can stream it through YouTube TV, Fubo, DirecTV or Fox One.

The game comes at a bad time for Seattle. The Seahawks are 4-4 and have lost three of their last four. Their only win in that run was a 20-3 home game against Kansas City. Last week's 34-17 home loss to Chicago was their most lopsided defeat of the season. Before that, they lost to San Francisco by three points and at Denver by three, so most of the recent damage has come in one-score games.

This is the second meeting with Arizona this season, and the first one went Seattle's way. The Seahawks won 31-7 in the desert, part of a 2-0 start. Arizona's seven points that day are the second-fewest Seattle has allowed this year, behind only the three points the Chiefs scored.

What it means for Sunday

At home, Seattle is 3-2. They beat New England, the Chargers and Kansas City at Lumen Field and lost to the 49ers and Bears there. The season totals are close to even. Seattle has scored 185 points and allowed 159, about 23 points for and 20 against per game. Over the last four games, though, the defense has given up 86 points, more than 21 a game, and 34 of those came against Chicago. The offense has scored 20 or fewer points in three of those four games.

On this site's board, which tracks 12 venues, Seattle is a heavy favorite. Novig has the Seahawks favored at -376 on the moneyline, so a $100 stake returns $26.60 in profit. Arizona is +355 there. The spread at Novig is Seattle -8.5 at -102, with the Cardinals +8.5 at even money. The best Seattle spread price anywhere is a half-point smaller: theScore Bet has the Seahawks -8 at -115, which pays $86.96 per $100. That is the main difference between venues. Novig gets Seattle at -8.5 for a cheaper price, while theScore Bet gives up half a point but charges more for it.

The total is 39.5 at Novig, priced at -104 on the over and even money on the under. That number is below what Seattle's games have usually produced. Seahawks games have averaged about 43 combined points, though the first Arizona game finished at 38. Sportsbook hold runs from 3.1% to 5.3% on the moneyline and from 2.4% to 5.0% on the spread and total, so prices on the same side can differ by a few points from one venue to the next. The full comparison is on the game page.

The market expects something like the first meeting. For Seattle, a win would get the team back above .500 at the season's midpoint. A loss would mean four defeats in five games and a losing record heading into the second half.
